The Schultz House (1892) is a beautifully maintained example of Queen Anne Victorian style, which features lavish ornamentation covering the exterior.
Bernard Maybeck rebelled against the exquisite detailing and architectural flourishes exemplified by the Schultz and Niehaus houses. Today both styles are admired.
